Ever wondered how the Airstream aluminum shell is made? Or how we wire in touch controls? Expect an up-close look while you’re here. You can take a one-hour tour of our travel trailer or Basecamp factory –– or both –– while hundreds of craftspeople create right in front of you. And you can tour our on-site museum, full of prized vintage Airstreams and historical exhibits. Our headquarters is designed to be fully wheelchair accessible. Let us know if you need additional accommodations. Please note: Due to our production schedule, full production may not be running during our Friday tours.
The Mothership Awaits
For decades our headquarters in Jackson Center, Ohio, has served as the central place where Airstreams are ideated, created, and revered. It’s our mothership, and we’d love to host you here.
What to expect during your visit
Where to stay
If you plan to stay in a hotel, we recommend Sidney, Ohio if you’re coming from south of Airstream or Wapakoneta if you’re coming from north of Airstream. Each city has a variety of hotels and restaurants located right off the interstate for easy access.
