A Legacy of Travel Independence

More than 70 years ago, Airstream introduced what’s believed to be the first self-contained recreational vehicle, and in the decades since we’ve continually improved on that concept. Following in the footsteps of the eStream Concept Travel Trailer and the Trade Wind® Travel Trailer, Basecamp Xe takes another major step forward in travel independence.

Made to Tow with Your SUV

Basecamp Xe's compact, lightweight design opens up all sorts of possibilities. It’s easily towable with a variety of mid-size SUVs – you may even be able to tow it with the vehicle already sitting in your driveway. Plus, the aggressive departure angle and large wheels help you tackle more roads with confidence while side skirts and wheel flares help prevent damage from gravel and debris.
