Redefining Overland Adventure Travel
In many ways, Airstream was at the forefront of the overlanding movement. During the 1950s, Airstream founder Wally Byam led globetrotting Caravans through Mexico, Central America, Europe, and beyond. In 1958, Airstream introduced what's believed to be the first self-contained travel trailer capable of escaping the need for shore power hookups.
