For more than 90 years, Airstream has been guided by our founder’s philosophy of only making improvements, never changing for the sake of change. That mentality comes to life in our Model Year 2025 slate, with numerous improvements across our entire travel trailer lineup.
Model Year 2025 sees the exciting addition of a new Trade Wind 23FB floor plan – a smaller footprint that delivers incredible boondocking ability like you find in the 25FB model. Our Classic line now features improved technology, a new MyAirstream app, new Tow Assist functionality, and a host of luxurious improvements that solidify Classic’s place as Airstream’s flagship travel trailer line. And elsewhere, the popular single axle Caravel gets a gorgeous new decor refresh.
But that’s not all: Read on for the full slate of Model Year 2025 improvements to our travel trailer lineup and start dreaming of your next adventure.
Airstream Travel Trailer Updates in Model Year 2025
A New 23FB Trade Wind Floor Plan
After a head-turning debut with the Trade Wind® 25FB last summer, Airstream introduces the newest member of the Trade Wind family: The Airstream Trade Wind 23FB. Coming in with a smaller footprint, the new 23-foot Trade Wind delivers powerful off-grid capability that helps you escape the need for shore power at a traditional campsite. Like the 25FB, the new Trade Wind 23FB is equipped with three chassis-integrated 270Ah heated Lithium Battle Born batteries that form an 810Ah battery bank – more than four times the battery capacity of most other Airstream travel trailer models.
The Trade Wind 23FB also has a 3000w combined inverter and charger that can simultaneously power the convection microwave and 13,500 BTU air conditioner while boondocking, while 500 Watts of solar input from the roof-mounted panels helps keep the batteries charged while camping in full sun.
The new Trade Wind 23FB is available with a Queen Bed or Twin Bed configuration, and features a convertible dinette that offers an additional 20 square feet of sleeping space. For those who prioritize boondocking off grid, the Trade Wind 23FB is available with an optional composting toilet that helps conserve water usage.

Updates to Airstream’s Flagship Classic Line
MyAirstream App and an Improved Smart Control System
For years, Classic has been Airstream’s flagship line, with 30RB and 33FB floor plan configurations that delivers a wide range of features and amenities wrapped in gorgeous, luxurious style. For Model Year 2025, both Classic models are now equipped with MyAirstreamTM, a new connected vehicle platform that builds on Airstream’s Smart Control system (found in Airstream Classics manufactured before Model Year 2025, as well as Pottery Barn Special Edition units) and enhances the travel experience.
Utilizing location services, a mobile app, and a partnership with Roadtrippers, MyAirstream enables Classic owners to locate and explore 40,000 camping-focused points of interest, including public and private campgrounds, dump stations, and RV-friendly overnight parking.
The system also locates favorite or nearby Airstream dealers and offers access to model-specific support and maintenance articles. The new app maintains the Smart Control system’s monitoring and control functionality, allowing owners to monitor everything from the trailer’s location to tank levels and operate A/C, lighting, and other functions while inside or away from the unit via a built-in cellular modem. And through an onscreen display, owners can access a diagnostic page that provides codes, firmware status, and other important diagnostic information for troubleshooting and service support of each individual Smart system component.
MyAirstream is powered by THOR Connected Services, and Airstream is an operating company of THOR Industries, Inc.
New Klipsch Sound System in Classic 33FB
In Airstream’s top-of-the-line model, the Classic 33FB, a premium Klipsch Audio System comes standard. The industry-leading audio system boasts a Klipsch stereo equipped with Bluetooth® streaming capability, four Klipsch speakers, and a premium soundbar for soundtracking your adventures no matter where you go. Whether you’re streaming your favorite playlist or kicking back and watching a movie on the new powered flatscreen TV (that rises out of the cabinet with a push of button), your ears will enjoy a premium audio experience from our partners at Klipsch.
Anti-Sway Control in the Classic Line
Experience a premium towing experience with a new ABS & Sway Mitigation System that gives you even more situational awareness while towing your Classic. The Dexter Tow Assist™ Powered by Bosch system helps reduce sway and gives drivers piece of mind while towing. A side-mounted indicator light alerts drivers when the system is encountering abnormalities, and the anti-lock braking system improves drivability and stopping power.
Airstream Caravel Line Gets a Decor Refresh for 2025
Inspired by an emerging tone-on-tone trend in interior design, the 2025 Caravel lineup receives a gorgeous decor refresh. Textures, patterns, and materials come together to create an effortlessly stylish interior that feels refined and sophisticated, while also employing the durable easy-to-clean features that Airstreamers prioritize. Choose from Pebble or Driftwood decor packages, with elegant earth tones, inviting textures, and quiet luxury.
Other Updates to Airstream’s 2025 Travel Trailer Lineup
Bambi and Caravel Lines
The single-axle trailers in the Bambi and Caravel lines receive several engineering updates in 2025 aimed at a better owner experience while on the road. Across both lines, the 19CB floor plan will be retired to allow for more focus on Bambi and Caravel’s three other floor plans in 16, 20, and 22 feet.
In both Bambi and Caravel, the small-footprint 16RB floor plans expand in length by two inches, allowing for subtle changes throughout the chassis. The fresh water tank moves below the floor and the electrical center is relocated under the roadside dinette seating to allow for more under bed storage. And Bambi is now upgraded with a 12-volt smart TV with HDMI hookup so you can plug in your favorite streaming device.
Globetrotter, International, and Basecamp Updates
Elsewhere, Globetrotter is now equipped with a recirculating water heater and International receives the same power stabilizing jacks found in the Globetrotter line. And in the Basecamp lineup, the 20-foot floor plan is now equipped with an improved shower pan that improves water shedding ability and reduces leaks while offering better durability on the road.
